T9 Series

waterproof connectors for industrial applications

Highest Reliability Electronic Connectors For Advanced Applications

About The Series

The T9 Series is our most technologically advanced series of cylindrical connectors available. T9 connectors can accommodate the highest density of contacts in one connector and feature the most comprehensive selection of contacts available, including fiber optic, twinax, coax, quadrax, and PC tail contacts. Coupling is achieved with one 360° turn of the self-locking coupling ring, which is designed with triple-start, impact-resistant stub threads. Standard RFI grounding fingers provide superior shell-to-shell conductivity for shielded applications, while available stainless steel shells protect connectors during rough handling or extreme temperatures. For applications that demand the absolute best, T9 connectors are the only choice.

The T9 Series also offers hermetic receptacles for vacuum chambers or other pressurized applications and connectors manufactured from space-grade aluminum components and thermoplastic composite that meet NASA specifications.

For additional help in specifying your connector solution, please contact a Milnec sales professional, or your authorized distributor for technical and sales support.

Box Mount Receptacle (Hermetic) • T912

Low-profile hermetic receptacle

Description

T9 hermetic receptacles are made from stainless steel and glass-fused inserts to create an airtight seal. The hermetic box mount receptacle features a low-profile design that does not permit the use of backshells, making it ideal for confined spaces. A gasket and a mounting bracket with sealing screws are recommended for a reliable hermetic seal.

Data Sheets

Jam Nut Receptacle (Hermetic) • T913

Preferred receptacle for hermetics

Description

Data Sheets

Jam nut receptacles are preferred for hermetic applications because of the single mounting hole design and the integrated O-ring that seals the mounting location. A protective cover is recommended when the connector is not in use. The low-profile rear design does not permit the use of a backshell.

Solder Mount Receptacle (Hermetic) • T919

Smallest receptacle for sensors or probes

Description

The hermetic solder mount receptacle is designed to have the smallest mounting footprint available. The reduced flange is useful when soldering in high densities to a panel or mounting to compact probes or sensors. The low-profile rear design does not permit the use of a backshell.

Data Sheets

Connector Saver • T9AS

Protect connectors from coupling abuse

Description

Connector savers are designed to protect connectors that are subject to repeated mating and unmating cycles during manufacturing, check-out phases, and environmental testing. Connector savers prevent costly repair or replacement of expensive connectors while preserving the quality and integrity of the connector by absorbing connect and disconnect abuse.

Data Sheets

Thru-Bulkhead Receptacle • T922

Receptacle for bulkhead feed-thru

This connector has receptacles on both sides of the shell, allowing cable plugs to connect from each side. The pins and sockets can be arranged on either side to meet your design requirements. The four-hole flange enables easy mounting to the front or rear of a panel. A mounting bracket and gasket are recommended.

Description

Data Sheets

Jam Nut Thru-Bulkhead Receptacle (Hermetic) • T927

Hermetic bulkhead feed-thru

Description

Jam nut receptacles are preferred for hermetic applications because of the single mounting hole design and the integrated O-ring that seals the mounting location. Dual receptacle ends enable bulkhead feed-thru of cables. Protective covers are recommended when the connector is not in use.
